My social science research explores the intersections of gender, ecology, and Indigenous knowledge, with a focus on community-led conservation and land restoration. I’ve conducted fieldwork across East Africa, particularly in northern Tanzania, where I studied the roles of pastoralist women in conservation. A piece of my graduate research was published in academic journal Gender, Place & Culture, and continues to inform my reporting and storytelling.
